Thinking SkillsAcquisition of Knowledge:
I can find out facts. I can learn new ideas. I can understand and use new vocabulary. I can remember what I have learned. Comprehension: I understand what I have learned. I understand information I find from different sources. I can explain to others what I have learned. Application: I can use my skills and knowledge in different situations, to solve problems, and in practical ways. Analysis: I can break my ideas into smaller parts. I look for patterns. I can find similarities and differences. I identify unique features. Synthesis: I can take information from different places and put it together. I can combine ideas and knowledge to answer questions. Evaluation: I can use a criteria to make decisions about work, behavior, attitudes, knowledge, and action. Dialectical Thought: I can think of different points of view at the same time. I can understand different points of view. I can make arguments for different points of view based on my knowledge about each point of view. I know that people can have their own point of view. Metacognition: I can think about how I learn things. I can think about what I have learned. I know the process I go through to learn something new. Research SkillsFormulating Questions:
